Crawford County Marriage License
Both applicants must appear together to apply. Each applicant must bring valid photo ID. If an applicant lacks valid photo ID, the county requires a valid birth certificate and proof of residency that is not handwritten. Both applicants must provide Social Security number. Prior-marriage proof is also required when applicable.

Prior marriage proof is a common source of delay. Crawford County requires a certified divorce decree when a prior marriage ended by divorce and a certified or original death certificate when a prior marriage ended by death. A photocopy of a divorce decree is not enough for the marriage license application. Applicants should gather those documents before the appointment.
